Visit to Rosseland Centre for Solar Physics at the University of Oslo, January 13, 2020.  

 

 

Program meeting

• Monday 13 : discussion on the week program, refresher on Whole Sun projet’s objectives, information on March 2020 1-month gathering and start of the WP-X discussion.
• Tuesday 14 : WP-X special day with 4 talks by respectively Prof. A. Nordlund on Dispatch framework, Dr. A. Popovas on Dispatch recent applications, Dr. P. Kestener about Dyablo AMR mini App et M. Delorme on efficient codes coupling.
• Wednesday 15 at 10:30 am : remote talk from Dr. F. Kupka on IMEX methods Thursday and Friday: discussion about WP1, 2, 3 & 4 objectives about Rossby waves in solar convection, coupling between global dynamo and local codes for flux emergence, analysis of jet simulationa t solar surface, computing key quantities for solar wind models from Bifrost simulations.
